Welcome to Philander Smith College! We are excited to have you as a student. The Division of Student Affairs includes
Campus Security, Health Services, Center for Student Services, Office of Religious
Life, Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, and Residential Life. Our focus
is to provide co-curricular services and activities that will help you be successful.
The mission of the Division of Student Affairs at Philander Smith College is to prepare
generations of life-long learners through academic support, spiritual development,
and cultural enrichment to engage in professional leadership and service.

How Can I Get Involved on Campus?
While you come to college for your academic studies, research shows that students
who are actively involved in co-curricular activities have better grades and higher
graduation rates. Thus, we strongly encourage our students to get involved in various
